This song is a musical shoutout to those who work nonstop to help get all of us through the holiday season -- yes, they're the elves! Not only are they the little ones who work with Santa, there are also "life-size" elves who live and work among us. The unsung heroes of Christmas!

Take a look inside the workshop
And you will surely find
The tiniest of helpers
Making toys of every kind
Hammering the nails
And turning the screws
With all those toys to make
There's no time to lose (Every single year!)

We don't know where they come from
And why the pointy ears (hey!)
Do they have to go to school
To become toy engineers?
Their history's a mystery, yeah
We don't get any clues
I wish I knew the story of
Those hats and curly shoes! (Well we could just tell you, I guess...)

Christmas elves are wonderful
With voices oh so small
But Santa needs each one of them
To keep him on the ball
See how many presents
They pile up onto the sleigh?
Let's raise some elf awareness
For getting Santa on his way

Little in stature
They hide so well (mhm)
They may be nearby you
And you couldn't even tell (That's right!)
Well they're just checking in
Because they wanna be precise
Reporting back to Santa

Them hanging out on your shelves

They keep mostly to themselves

Yeah, mischief is their favorite thing
When all the work is done (When it's done? Our work is never done!)
